9:00am setup (volunteers needed)

Please let me know if you can come early to help setup. The more hands on deck the better!

10:00am warm up

Come early, find your team, warm up and stretch. It’s going to be a long day with lots of volleyball!

10:40am captains report

Each team captain has to let me know that their whole team is present and ready to go. Teams with late players will forfeit their seeds games!

10:50am find your courts

Each team will be given a schedule of where they need to be and when.

11:00am seeds round begins

The first half of the day will see all teams play each other once, first to 21 (no win by 2). The results will be recorded based on the difference in points. So if you win 21-15, your result will be +6. If you loose 20-21, your result will be -1.

The results from all seven games will be added up and the teams will be ‘seeded’ from 1 - 8.

(If teams have matching results, the outcome of their game will determine their position.)

1:00pm lunch!

Lunch is provided and consists of… pizza! From our friends at Straight Brooklyn Pizza. Cinnamon waffles are provided courtesy of Waffle House, and there will be veggies and fruit and chips etc.

And of course… drinks…

2:00pm sudden death tournament

Now it gets serious…

From the seeding results, the 1st ranked team plays the 8th, the 2nd plays the 7th etc. It’s best of three, played to 21, win by 2.

After the first round, the four winners play, also best of three, played to 21, win by 2.

The two losers will play for 3rd place, best of three to 21, win by 2, but the finals game will be best of five, played to 21, win by 2.

Everyone is encouraged to stay and watch the last two games of the finals!!!

4:30pm-ish prizes!

There will be great prizes for 3rd, 2nd and… 1st place!!!

5:00pm-ish more volleyball!!!

Spectators and those who still have gas in the tank are welcome to play until it gets dark. This is the last hooray for the season so get your volleyball in while you can!
